If you have systemworks on your desktop, after connecting to the internet enter on Systemworks. Tab twice to reach Live Update and hit enter. You will be presented with a list of all Symantec products on your computer. Tab twice to next and hit enter. You will get the following: "Live Update is searching for updates to the following Symantec products (I believe it lists them again)." After a pause you will hear, "Live Update has found updates to the following Symantec products. It then lists them and tells you to deselect what you don't want. Most of the time the updates are virus definitions. I never deselect. Tab twice to next and hit enter. Now it tells you it is downloading updates to (and lists them the first one and how many updates, 1 of 1, or 1 of 2, etc., and how large the file is. When download finishes, it tells you it is installing (and lists the updates). You will hear lots of disk activity at this point. When it finishes, it thanks you and tells you what is now up to date. If a program file has been updated, you will be told to reboot your computer after saving your work. Otherwise, tab twice to the finish button and hit enter. That takes you back to Live Update. Altogether f 4 takes you back to Systemworks.
