Okay, here goes Dimension 4 101, grin. Here are the options you may hear as you tab around and what they are for: How often, load dimension 4 at start up. If you want dimension 4 to automatically run when you boot your computer, check this checkbox. How often, wait until online. If you use a dial up connection, I would probably check this checkbox as you don't want it to try to connect until you choose to. If you tab once more, you will have two radio buttons. One is for synchronize once, then exit. The next is for every and then you can set a time, for example, every 30 minutes. I think it's enough to have it run once when you start up and then exit. If your clock is losing time fast enough that you have to keep synchronizing then you have bigger problems, ha ha. Time zone button, leave that alone if everything is working okay. It doesn't matter which server you use, because the program will use the time zone that you have in control panel to caluculate your time from the atomic clock time. Maximim correction. The most you will allow d4 to adjust your clock, for example by an hour. Visibility start minimized. If you are going to have d4 run at start up, I would definitely check this. Visibility hide when minimized. Don't check this unless you have it display in your system tray or it won't be in your taskbar to alt tab to. Visibility display icon in tray. Check this if you want dimension 4 to be in your system tray where you can find it with insert f11. Note. If you make any changes at all, make sure you tab to the exit button and shut down d4 properly to save the changes, don't just alt f4 out of it
