This program strips the > symbols from email messages. It should work with any version of Eudora. You will have to extract the file from the zip file you downloaded and then place the dll file in the plugin folder under the folder where the eudora.exe file resides in your version of eudora. If you installed Eudora using the default settings, the plug-in for 5.1 should be placed in the following folder. c:\Program Files\Qualcomm\Eudora\Plugins For eudora 3.0.6, you will have to look for eudora.exe and find where it is located, and then look for the plugins folder for that version. Once you have copied the rmvquote.dll file to your plugin folder, you should be able to locate it under the plug-in submenu of the Edit menu. To run the plug-in, do the following: 1. From within a message that contains any > symbols, press Alt+e to activate the edit menu. 2. Press the letter m to activate the message plug-in submenu. 3. Route your jaws cursor to PC cursor, and down arrow to rmvquote. Actually, after routing you Jaws cursor to PC cursor, pressing Control+End should place you on the rmvquote option. 4. Press the left mouse button once, and the strip mail process will be executed. You will be placed at the very top of the email message you were in before you ran the rmvquote plug-in. You will probably want to turn on your PC Cursor at that point. Note: After stripping a message, upon taking further action, such as closing the message, or forwarding the message, you will probably receive the prompt asking if you want to save changes to the message. Select "yes" if you want to save the message with the > symbols stripped out. Otherwise, the next time you open that particular message, the > symbols will again be present.
