mIRC Speech is a small program which interfaces between mirc and jfw and makes jfw read the text and messages and notices from mirc. It will even read them if Jaws doesn't have the focus. First install the program mircspeechinstall.exe. Next run mIRC. If the connect options dialog comes up just enter on okay. At the main mIRC window, type in /load -rs jfw.mrc and enter. If you get a dialogue about allowing a script enter on yes. Next type in /jfwstart and enter. Next press alt control M. A mIRC speech component window will come up. You don't need to do anything here other than minimize it or alt tab back to mIRC. Now go ahead and connect to a server channel as you normally would. Jaws should read the text chat messages and other things. A few notes. mircspeech will be on your programs menu and these commands and instructions can be found on the read me on the mircspeech submenu. One other thing, as you issue the commands you will hear something about socket errors. You can just ignore these and go ahead and proceed. If you exit mIRC, you will just need to press alt control M. If you restart Jaws, you will need to type all the commands in order to reload mIRC speech.
