HandyBits lets you send voice messages as wav files to your friends.
  
First install the program.
Enter on the HandyBits VoiceMail Icon that it puts on your desktop.
Press F2 to start to record and then continue to hold it down while you speak your 
message into your microphone.
Press f3 to stop recording.
Press f4 to play back the message.
Press f5 and this will open an email message with the voice message attached.
Fill in the email address and send your message on its way!

You can press f8 to find various options.
