USING SAPI 5 VOICES WITH JAWS
There are other voices that can be used with Jaws, other than the ones that come with the Eloquence synthesizer.
Below is a list of some of the voices that are available to purchase for use with the Microsoft Sapi 4, and Sapi 5 synthesizers.

While these voices  do work with Jaws, it should be remembered that these are for use with the Sapi 5 synthesizers,
and may not perform as well as the Eloquence synthesizer.
The following are instructions for using the voices with Jaws on Windows XP
Installing the voices:
The voices can be installed as you would install any other software, and the same rules and precautions should be followed.
Configuring the voices for use with Jaws.
1. From the Jaws application window, press, alt L, for the language menu.
2. Press the letter C, for change synthesizer.
This will place you in a list of available synthesizers.
3. Using the arrow keys, move to the Sapi 5selection, and press enter.
This will take you out of the menus, and the Sapi synthesizer will now be active.
4. To select the voice of your choice, and adjust the speech rate, pitch etc,
Go to the options menyu, and select voices, and proceed as you would normally for changeing the voice settings for Jaws.

To use the Sapi 5 voices in computer games, refer to the, read me file, or other accompanying documentation supplied with the specific game.
